Men’s Issues Therapy
A space to talk about what matters most
One of the first things that society taught you about being a man was that you had to be strong. No crying, no complaining, and no showing of affection.
And you weren’t alone. Whether they realized it or not, all of the boys and men around you were learning the same thing, leading to a culture where it became easier to bury what you were feeling rather than letting it out.
Struggling through life’s challenges without support and companionship can leave you feeling isolated and alone. I offer specialized therapy for men’s issues to help you reclaim your confidence and return to your true self.
My therapy services are available in-person in Oakland, and online throughout California.
Is this you?
You’re irritable and find yourself losing your temper more often than you’d like.
You feel that you’re overly sensitive and “not like other guys.”
You feel overwhelmed with the demands of your career but pressured to keep pushing through it.
Your relationship is falling apart and communication with your partner is at an all-time low.
You have a harsh inner critic that criticizes you non-stop.
You want to open up and emotionally connect with other guys, but are scared that it’s going to feel awkward.
Many men today grapple with the pressure to meet traditional masculine ideals. The expectation to always have things under control can create a sense of isolation, as opening up about your struggles might be seen as a sign of weakness.
Despite appearing successful on the surface, men today often experience difficulty in forming deep, meaningful connections, leading to feelings of loneliness and disconnection. Left unattended, this can manifest as shame, guilt, anger, or confusion about your identity as a man. Societal stigma around mental health can make it difficult for you to seek help, further contributing to strained relationships, isolation, and a sense of unfulfillment.
But there's another way. By recognizing and addressing the pressures that have shaped you, you can begin to break free from harmful stereotypes and embrace a healthier, more authentic version of yourself. Meeting with a therapist trained in treating men’s issues can help.
You don’t have to feel this way.

How I help.
Growing up as a sensitive man, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find safe spaces to talk about men’s issues. My fear of coming off as weak or broken kept often me from opening up, especially around other men. Breaking free from that was liberating and helped me finally see my sensitivity as a strength, not as a weakness.
I take pride is helping other men step into their confidence and get the support they need around common men’s issues. I utilize evidence-based techniques to teach practical skills to help give you relief from anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. I coach you on improving your communication skills to help reduce relationship strain and increase harmony with your partner.
My style is warm and engaged, and I look forward to helping you on your journey.
