Counseling Services for Teenagers
Adolescence Therapy for teens, parents, and families
Watching your teenager struggle through the challenges of adolescence can be deeply distressing. You may have noticed changes in their behavior—they might be arguing more, withdrawing, or losing interest in their passions.
Finding a qualified teen therapist can help address these critical developmental hurdles.
I offer counseling services for teenagers, as well as co-parenting therapy and therapy for parenting, empowering you to support your child and restore family harmony.
Is this your teen?
They argue all the time, often over what feel like the smallest of things.
They’ve stopped sharing details about their life with you, and you miss connecting with them.
They’ve become withdrawn and seem uninterested in socializing.
They’ve lost interest in the things that used to bring them joy.
There's been a break in trust and you can't move past it.
They’re struggling academically and it’s starting to impact their self-esteem.
Teenage years are often considered to be one the most challenging and tumultuous stages of development. Teens are faced with a wide range of physical, emotional, and social changes, and they often struggle to navigate this period of transition.
During this time, they may experience feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, and confusion. Additionally, they may be dealing with issues such as peer pressure, academic strain, and relationship difficulties, which can all negatively impact their mental and emotional well-being.
While many adolescents share in these experiences, not all are equally skilled at expressing it or asking for help. Mental and emotional challenges can often show up as isolation, moodiness, irritability, rebellious behavior, or reports of not feeling well physically.
Our counseling services for teenagers and adolescence therapy are tailored to address these unique challenges.

How I help.
After spending several years as a teen therapist in high schools, I developed a passion for working with folks in this age group. Adolescence is a challenging yet beautiful time, and guiding teens as they transition into young adulthood is a rewarding experience.
Therapy can provide a safe and supportive environment for teens to process their emotions, learn coping strategies, and develop positive communication skills to manage their stress. Therapy can also help teenagers work through social challenges and provide guidance as they step more fully into their identity.
Additionally, I also offer therapy for parenting and co-parenting to support family dynamics, helping you and your teen navigate these years with more understanding and less conflict.
I utilize a warm, engaged, and restorative approach, providing teens with a platform to voice their concerns and further develop their emotional literacy. Adolescence can be a challenging time for everyone, and therapy can also help improve family relationships that have become tense or strained.
